6.2 However, in some cases, we may receive your personal information from a third party, including:

(b) external service providers (for example, Thinkific who host our ‘Wedding Mentor by After the Rock’ e-

learning course).


7 HOW DO WE STORE AND HOLD PERSONAL INFORMATION?

7.1 We store most information about you in computer systems and databases operated by either us or our external

service providers. Some information about you is recorded in paper files that we store securely.

7.2 We implement and maintain processes and security measures to protect personal information which we hold from

misuse, interference or loss, and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

7.3 These processes and systems include:

(a) the use of identity and access management technologies to control access to systems on which

information is processed and stored;

(n) requiring all employees to comply with internal information security policies and keep information secure;

(o) monitoring and regularly reviewing our practise against our own policies and against industry best

practice.


7.4 We will also take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify personal information once we no longer require it for

the purposes for which it was collected or for any secondary purpose permitted under the APPs.

8 WHO DO WE DISCLOSE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO, AND WHY?

8.1 We may disclose personal information to external service providers so that they may perform services for us or on

our behalf.

8.2 We may also disclose your personal information to others where:

(a) we are required or authorised by law to do so;

(p) you may have expressly consented to the disclosure or the consent may be reasonably inferred from the

circumstances; or

(q) we are otherwise permitted to disclose the information under the Privacy Act.

8.3 If the ownership or control of all or part of our business changes, we may transfer your personal information to the

new owner.

9 DO WE DISCLOSE PERSONAL INFORMATION TO OVERSEAS RECIPIENTS?

9.1 We may disclose your personal information to service providers who are located outside Australia (for example, if

your wedding is to be held outside of Australia).

9.2 We may also use uses the services of certain third party service providers which may have offices, servers or

other operations outside of Australia including but not limited to the European Union, Great Britain, United States

of America, Canada, China and India.

9.3 Where we disclose your personal information to third parties overseas, we will take reasonable steps to ensure

data security and appropriate privacy practices are maintained.

10 DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION FOR MARKETING?

10.1 We will use your personal information to offer you products and services we believe may interest you, but we will

not do so if you tell us not to.

12 SOCIAL MEDIA

12.1 We encourage everyone to engage with our social media pages (eg. Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter,

YouTube) as we like to hear from our customers, friends and staff.

12.2 However, it is your responsibility to protect your privacy and personal information when using our social media

pages. You should not include any of your personal information, or the personal information of others, in posts,

stories or comments.

12.3 Information posted to our social media pages is recorded and used for the purpose of administering pages and

addressing any comments made.

12.4 We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of social media pages.

13 INFORMATION PROVIDED BY EMPLOYEES

13.1 Any employment application provided to us will be used solely for the purpose of analysing suitability for a

position available.

13.2 Personal information will only form part of an employee record if application is successful. Personal information

of unsuccessful applicants will remain on file to be revisited should suitable opportunities arise in the future, but if

requested applications may be returned or destroyed.

13.3 Personal information about employees will only be disclosed by us if required by law to authorised government

agencies (eg. Australian Taxation Office) or as otherwise agreed by the employee.

14 ACCESS TO AND CORRECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

14.1 You may access or request correction of the personal information that we hold about you by contacting us. Our

14.2 There is no charge for requesting access to your personal information, but we may require you to meet our

reasonable costs in providing you with access (such as photocopying costs or costs for time spent on collating
